“Is there something wrong, doctor?” Adam asked, worried.
“No, not at all. It’s just that we missed something in our first appointment.” The doctor smiled softly as they stared at her expectantly. “You’re having twins. One baby was hiding behind the other so we didn’t see it back then.” She said, making their eyes widen. “Congratulations!” She grinned at them.
“T-twins?” Taylor stuttered, her voice quiet in the white room as she turned her head to look at Adam who had his mouth open, shock written all over his face. “That’s two babies.”
“Two little angels, my love.” Adam laughed, his eyes happy as he looked into her blue eyes, smiling.
“I’ll be right back.” The doctor told them, walking out of the room leaving them alone. Adam kissed Taylor’s cheek, it still had sunk in on her that she would be having two babies instead of one.
