堂哥只求速死，这里小熊必定依然含泪握弓（白菜的要求对冒险前来的小熊真的很残忍。
其实小熊完全可以拒绝说，“我不想杀你，我会再想办法。”
但是他很可能从来没有对自己心爱的堂哥说过一个“不”字，这个在以后依然会提到）。

Noldor in their need，是复数。
而在这里的Noldor只有他们两个

这里是白菜公主的第二次求死，推测小熊砍不动手铐是一个原因，白菜公主受到的（某种视觉意义上的）折磨，是另一个原因。
这里小熊没有犹豫，没有疑惑，他怎么会杀他。

这一CP之所以成为长久传唱的CP，是因为CP的双方都在努力地自我拯救。

同Beren的Empty hand一样，这里的Maedhros也一手空空地对岳父大人（我又逆自己CP了！不过，必须看在老托笔下的女性角色都比较强势的份上《--我在说什么。总之你们懂的）交出了身上能拥有的一切：王权。
并且这里开始有展现白菜公主作为diplomat的才能，这番话说得心情岳父大人舒畅。
就像Thingol大王和Beren最后也能做朋友的份上，Lord二粉接过了白菜公主的馈赠。
But to this his brothers did not all in their hearts agree.
白菜公主的弟弟们的反应：美丽的大公主嫁出去的嫁妆这么丰盛（几乎是抄了狒狒家家底），弟弟们必须是不开心的；因为以后他们家的帅哥都会很难嫁了。
这是被菜公主骂出去卡兰少爷拼命敛财的一个原因。
