Details of Tropical Low 28U at 11:00 am AWST:
Intensity: tropical low, sustained winds near the centre of 65 kilometres per hour with wind gusts to 95 kilometres per hour.
Location: within 55 kilometres of 14.5 degrees South, 123.7 degrees East , 140 kilometres northwest of Kuri Bay and 315 kilometres north of Derby .
Movement: east southeast at 13 kilometres per hour .
Tropical low 28U is developing and is turning to the south southeast. There is a high chance of 28U developing into a tropical cyclone before it crosses the coast tonight or Saturday morning, most likely northeast of Derby between Kuri Bay and Cape Leveque. Later Saturday and during Sunday 28U is likely to be weakening over land.
