由于地域和历史的不同，中西文化有很大的差异。中西文化差异表现在方方面面，如衣食住等。 穿着打扮向来是中国人十分注重的事情，他们对服饰有相当高的要求，有些人甚至到了痴迷的程度。但西方人好像对这些并不是特别在意，他们不讲究品牌、样式，只要穿着合身，干净整洁即可。 在饮食方面，中国很注重形式，讲究“色、香、味”，而西方人很讲实际，讲究营养搭配和保护，注重菜的内在质量。 中西方建筑艺术的差异来自于材料的不同，传统的东方建筑一直以木头为构架的，而传统的西方建筑则长期以石头为主体。 除了以上这些，还有其它方面的差异。 在宗教信仰方面，中国盛行儒教、佛教和道教，西方则信仰基督教，认为世界是上帝制造的。 在绘画艺术上，中国画是泼墨写意，西方的油画讲究人、体比例。还有价值观、风俗习惯、思维方面等的差异。总之，中西方的文化存在着很多的差异。

Chinese pay close attention to clothing and apparel all along, and demand it highly, some even to be addicted.
But the western don’t care it particularly, no pursuing the brand and style, only be fitted and neat.
It is a great concern on form of food in China, such as color, smelling and taste.
However require of the western is more inside, such as nutritious suitable, quality, maintain of nutrition.
Diversions, in architecture, of china and the western, comes from materials. Traditionally Chinese construction shape the frame is wood, but the western, mainly, is stone always.
In addition to all above this, other respects exists differences.
On religion and belief, Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism flourished in china, the western believed Christian, God created the world. On painting, picture is painted by ink stick pouring in China, and expresses inherence. But the west focuses on the proportion of body. There are differences on value, the customs and thoughts.
