S01E01 A Hard Day's Night
The game,they say a person either has what it takes to play,or they don’t. My mother was one of the greats, Me, on the other hand...I’m kind of screwed. Like I said I’m screwed.
I can’t think of any one reason why I want to be a surgeon, but I can think of 1000 reason why I should quit. They make it hard on purpose.There are lives in our hands,There comes a moment when it’s more than just a game, And you either take that step forward, or turn around and walk away. I could quit,but here’s the thing. I love the playing field.
So...I made it though my first shift.We all did,the other interns are all good people.You’d like them,I think.I don’t know,maybe.I like them,Oh, and I changed my mind,I’m not gonna sell the house,I’m gonna keep it.I’ll have to get a couple of roommates,but it’s home,you know?
这个游戏，有的人乐于沉溺其中，有的人却不。我妈妈是其中优秀的一员，我嘛，换句话说，我快要惨了。就像我说的，我惨了！
我想不出一个成为外科医生的理由，但我可以找到1000个辞职的理由，他们试图去努力，人们的生命掌握在我们手中，总有一个时刻，它不仅仅是一场游戏，要么你迈出这一步往前走，要么转身走开。我会退出，但这里的事情，我爱这竞争的环境。所以，我通过了我的第一次轮班，我们都通过了。其他的实习生都是很好的人，你会喜欢他们的。我觉得，我不确定，也许我喜欢他们吧。哦，对了，我改变我的主意了，我不会卖掉那所房子，我会留着它。我会找两个室友，这是个家啊，对吗。

S01E02 The First Cut is the Deepest
It’s all about lline. The finish line at the end of residency.waiting in line for a chance at the operating table. And then there’s the most important line. A line separating you from the people you work with. It doesn’t help to get too familiar, to make friends.You need boundaries between you and the rest of the world. Other people are far too messy. It’s all about lines. Drawing lines in the sand, and praying like hell no one crosses them. 一切都有关“线”。实习结束时的终点线，排成直线等待进手术室的机会。还有最重要的一条线，一条分隔你和同事的三八线。关系太好是没有帮助的，交朋友也是。你需要分界线让自己远离尘世，其他人太过于复杂。一切都有关“线”。在沙上画几条线，拼命祈祷没人能穿越它们， At some point, you have to make a decision. Boundaries don’t keep other people out. They fence you in. Life is messy. That’s how we’re made. So you can waste your life drawing lines. Or you can live your life crossing them.But there're some lines. That are way too dangerous to cross. Here’s what I know.If you’re willing to take the chance, the view from the other side, is spectacular. 某些时刻，你必须做出决定。界线并不能把他人拒之门外。却把你困住了。生活一团糟。这就是我们。你可以把人生浪费在划定界线上，也可以跨越它们，好好生活。但是有些界线，跨越它们实在太危险了。我知道的是，如果你愿意试一次，“线”另一边的风景，令人惊叹。

S01E03 Winning a Battle, Losing the War
We live out our lives on the surgical unit. Seven days a week,14 hours a day. We’re together more than we’re apart. After a while,The ways of residency,become the ways of life, No.1 Always keep score.No.2 Do whatever you can to out smart the other guy, No.3, Don’t make friends with the enemy. Oh, and yeah, No.4 everything, everthing is competition.Whoever said winning wasn’t everything, never held a scalpel.
There’s another way to suivive this competition, A way no one ever seems to tell you about. One you have to learn for yourself. No.5 It’s not about the races at all. There are no winners or losers, victories are counted by the number of lives saved. And once in a while,if you’re smart.The life you save could be your own.

S01E04 No Man's Land
Intimacy is a four-syllable word.For,"here are my heart and soul. Please grind them into hamburger and enjoy." It’s both
desired and feared. Difficult to live with...and impossible to live without.Intimacy also comes attached to three Rs. Relatives,Romance,and Roommates.There are some things you can’t escape.And other things you just don’t want to know. "亲密"在英语中是个四音节单词。意思是“给你我的心和灵魂。磨碎做成汉堡包，请你细细品味。”既让人渴望，又令人恐惧。很难与之相处。但又不可或缺。亲密还与三个词密不可分。亲情、友情和爱情。有些事是无法逃脱的。另一些是你没兴趣的。 I wish there were a rule book for intimacy. Some kind of a guide,that could tell you when you’ve crossed the line.It would be nice if you could see it coming. And I don’t know how you fit it on a map.You take it where you can get it, and keep it as long as you can. And as for rules,Maybe there are none. Maybe the rule of intimacy, are something you have to define for yourself. 亲密，要是有种规则该多好。当你越线时，能有个指引提醒你该多好。要是能事先预见它的到来该多好。可我不知道它在哪儿，什么时候来临。与所爱的人亲密无间，然后努力去铭记。至于规则，或许本就没有规则。又或，亲密的规则，得由你自己来制定。

S01E06 If Tomorrow Never Comes
A couple hundred years ago,Benjamin Franklin shared with the world,the secret of his success,"Never leave that till tomorrow."He said. Which you could do today. This is the man who discovered electricity.He’d think more of us would listen to what he had to say.I don’t know why we put things off,but if I had to guess,I’d say it has a lot to do with fear.Fear of failure,fear of pain,fear of rejection.Sometimes,the fear is just of making a decision.Because,what if you are wrong?What if you’re making a mistake you can’t undo?Whatever it is we’re afraid of,one thing holds true.That by the time the pain of not doing a thing,gets worse than the fear of doing it.It can feel like we’re carrying around a giant tumor.And you thought I was speaking metaphorically. 两百多年前，本杰明富兰克林曾经向众人分享他成功的秘诀。他说“今日事今日毕”。正是他发现了电能。他以为大多数人会听信他的忠告。我不知道为什么大家习惯拖延，如果要我猜的话，我想主要是因为害怕。害怕失败，害怕疼痛，害怕被拒绝。有时候，害怕的仅仅是做出决定。因为，如果我们错了怎么办？如果犯了一个无法挽回的错该怎么办？不管我们害怕的是什么，有一件事永远不会改变。当逃避的痛苦比害怕更强烈时，那感觉就会像是身负着巨大的肿瘤。你以为我刚刚是在比喻吗?
