【音乐录影带剧情】
MV开头，年长女主人公在家中缓慢行走，她漫不经心的从丈夫身旁走过（他们的婚姻并非出自真爱）。当她在泡咖啡的时候，出于对现状的不悦，于是就面带愠色，开始回忆起过去与逝去恋人在一起的幸福时光。场景在搅拌的咖啡画面中切换，画面中出现了年少女主人公与画家男友在互画对方的快乐场景，他们一起参加舞会、又互相为对方画着纹身。
随后，画面又回到了年老女主人的身上，她坐在豪华的卧室里面，面带伤感。这时候，她开始回忆起当初和画家男友争吵的画面。当时的情况，是画家男友忽然看到年少女主人公望着画板，没有心思画画后，便不悦的抓着她拿着画笔的手在画板上乱涂。而年少女主人公则将红色的颜料泼到了画家男友尚未完成的画作上，后者一气之下便开车离家而去。
随后，年少女主人公和年长女主人公一起出现在卧室里唱歌。不久，年老女主人公开着与画家男友相同类型的车离开了家。画面又切回到过去，画家男友忽然从车子上翻到了年少女主人公参加舞会时戴的面纱。他盯着面纱看了许久。然而，他并没有注意到路上有几块巨石。当他紧急向右调转方向盘后，不想前方竟是一片由栏杆围着的悬崖。歌声随着紧急刹车声消失，歌曲《You Are My Sunshine》开始响起，年老女主人公开车来到画家男友失事的地方，倚靠在悬崖边的栏杆上。
幻境中，画家男友的灵魂出现在年长女主人公的面前，两人紧握著对方的双手，手上的爱心纹身刚好拼成一对。而当《You Are My Sunshine》的音乐停止后，画家男友的灵魂也随之消失，年长女主人公转身，静静地离开了悬崖边。
