People like "more mercyplates, more mercyplates, more everyone being happy" but the joke's on you, Gaster's never happy.
At least he doesn't take it out on them, it's all self-directed. Way to just completely give up, Gaster, jeez. Maybe take your time off of torturing children to get some therapy.
Oh right, he has a normal head in mercyplates variants since he never gets erased.

但是快乐是你们的，G从来没有快乐过。
至少他没有拿他们出气，这全凭自控。是时候彻底放弃了，G，天啦。也许你该把折磨孩子们的时间用来接受心理治疗。
对了，因为他从未被擦除，所以在mercyplates 中他有个正常的脑袋。

Someone wanted to see a vulnerable Gaster, so I was trying to think of some kind of scenarios that'd result in something like that. For the top one I have no idea what kind of surprise Alphys has in mind, and for the bottom one, I thought that maybe getting arrested for his evil deeds would do it, but it depends on how and when that would happen. Getting arrested might just make him double down on shutting everyone out and making himself dead inside, so it'd make him less vulnerable than he would be normally. It's tricky.
Normal head since the blindfold would look kind of wonky otherwise.
有些人说想看看脆弱易受伤的G，所以我试着想了一些会造成这种情况的情节。上面那个我想不到alphys 的惊喜是什么样的；至于下面那个，我认为他因自己的邪恶行为被捕时会发生这样的事，但这取决于他什么时候怎么样被带走的。被捕可能会让他加倍排斥他人荒芜内心，然后这会让他比平常更难以受到伤害。这很微妙。

A lot of people want a version of events where Gaster chooses mercy and instead raises the brothers as his kiddos, so here are some sketches along those lines. Since he never planned on adopting them he has no clothes for them at first, so he just puts them in his own, which are a bit too big. Someone wrote some little ficlets based on this idea but they're scattered all around so it's a bit hard to track them down specifically, but one idea they had I liked was that Gaster tied on their plates instead of drilling them in, thus the bandages on their hands. I also like the idea though of Gaster choosing mercy after he's brutalized them in whatever fashion, and then he has to try to regain their trust and make up for what he did to them. A hard road! In that case the bandages would be hiding the plates since they're not very easy to remove.
robynred suggested (in a sense) Gaster wearing a white turtleneck in a mercy scenario so sure why not.
很多人想要Gaster 选择仁慈而且将兄弟俩当作自己孩子养大的时间线，所以这里有一些那条时间线上的速写。因为G从来没有想过要养他们所以他没有给他们准备衣服，所以他把他的衣服给他们穿，这些衣服看上去有些大。有人以G选择仁慈的想法为基础写了一些小短打，但是它们太分散了难以明确找到。但是有个想法我很喜欢，就是G把他们的手牌系在手上而不是钉在手上，所以他们手上有绷带。我也很喜欢G在摧残他们之后才选择仁慈的想法，这样他就得重新获得他们的信任，弥补他对他们做的一切。道阻且长啊 ！在这种情况下绷带的作用是藏起手牌因为它们不易除去。
robynred提议（某种程度上）G在mercyplates里穿上白色高领毛衣所以为什么不呢
