Scent of women
It is an old movie. however I love it. In fact, The content of Scent of Woman has noting with its name. It’s not concerned with love at all. It’s about the story between two men, Charles and Colonel Frank Slade.
Charles is a high school student, Colonel Frank Slade is a lonely, blind veteran. Charles find a job which is taking care of blind veteran to earn money. The veteran is fractious. In additiaon, He has no confidence or couragement at all. He has tried to kill himself for many times. Charles makes his best to prevent him from doing that and encourage him again and again. At last, he suceed in helping him regain couragement and confidence on life. As a student, Charles is honest and kind. When the vetran knows that there will be several people make trouble with Charles in school, he defend for Charles in the school hall. His speech for Charles is wonderful which moves many people there. They look like father and son in the end.
When I watched the movie, I was shocked entirely. To some degree, the story is about the relationship of two man. One is kind, the other one is fractious and rough. However, they help with each other and have a great influnce on each other. I think Scent of women is a very moving story. In a meanner of speaking, the story is not vehement, however, it shows the humanity very well. It beat my heart greatly. I heav whatched it and been moved to tears for many times.
Now, all the world is developing fast. And people become busier and busier. We are busy with our study, work and so on. What’s more, we have no time to share with our friends, even with our parents. Of course, we have no time to pay attention to others, too. And we are numb to many things which happen unexpectly. On danlance, we are so busy. In fact, we are becoming more and more impassive. We usually aren’t willing to help these strangers who are in trouble. And we are busy with our own things.
I don’t know how to express my feeling very well. But I really feel that people now are more and more hard to get on well with. Maybe I’m a perceptual girl. When I feel someone is impassive to me or others, I will be really very depress and very sad. If we chage this statement, and help with each other, just not be so selfish but try to get on well with others, and spend a little more time with our prents and frinds, our life will be more wonderful.
