So remember I told you guys last week that Nets GM Sean Marks and his wife came to the restaurant that I bartend occasionally at?
Super nice guy. We got a good laugh when I said i'd ask phil Jackson and steve mills to leave if they ever came in etc etc
Fast forward: my part time boss calls me-tells me Sean marks assistant called the restaurant asking for my last name, etc
Apparently a bunch of us are getting @BrooklynNets gear and other stuff. So my point is this-Sean Marks isn't in marketing or fan relations
So he's not recruiting me as a fan or whatever (I know bitter Knicks fans will argue this).But think about the contrast in the two NYC teams
Phil Jackson and steve mills walk into a bar (start of a bad joke) do you think they give a shit that I'm a Knicks fan? They do not
It's not about free stuff it's the principle. I learned more about the nets culture by watching how Marks is as a person.
Side note- the man was watching Nets/Trailblazers on his phone. Never asked us to put it on the one tv we have. And he would he justified!
I have no problem standing behind my assertion that the nets have a brighter future than the Knicks.@BrooklynNets you're lucky to have Marks

所以他不是要巴结我这位球迷还是什么（我知道酸溜溜的尼克斯球迷会不同意），但想想这两支纽约球队的对比吧。
菲尔杰克孙和史蒂夫米尔斯走进一家酒馆（某个无聊笑话的开头）时，你认为他们会理我是不是尼克斯球迷？他们不会的。
这不是关于免费的礼品，这是原则。我从观察马克思的个人特质，学到了更多篮网的文化。
侧录：这个人当时在用手机观看篮网对开拓者的比赛，从头到尾都没有要求我们用我们其中一台电视播放，而他是有正当理由这么做的！
我毫无压力的为我的断言背书，篮网会比尼克斯拥有更光明的未来。篮网，拥有马克斯是幸运的。
