Breath of the Wild does a great job offixing the problem of Zelda’s slow start. There’s no long intro sequenceshowing you the absolute basics of the game. You wake up, you have no memories,some old dude tells you to do some stuff, then you go do it. It’s simple, andgets you playing right away. However, while this doesn’t look or feel like atraditional Zelda tutorial opener, it still is, it’s just a much less offensiveone.
荒野之息对于塞尔达系列新手教学冗长的问题做了很好的修正。那漫长的新手教学不见了。你苏醒时，没有了记忆。一些老人会教你做一些事，然后照做了。很简单，你就开始了游戏。然而，当你以为这不是塞尔达传统的新手教学时，你已经经历了教学，只不过非常友好。

Breath of the Wild does an amazing job attelling a story outside of cut scenes. Those are still there, rest assured,this isn’t Dark Souls, but there does seem to be a little bit of inspirationtaken from From Software’s now iconic series.

The game world is massive. It is. It’struly impressive in its size, and rarely does it ever feel mundane,algorithmic, or artificially large. Within just the first few hours of play,it’s obvious that this game is far bigger than any previous Zelda game. Infact, it might be twice the size… seriously. We’ll have to wait for our finalthoughts to confirm or deny any suspicions regarding the true length of theadventure, but this much is immediately obvious after leaving the plateau that.

That’s very different thanthe rigid experience of Twilight Princess, which smacks you in the face withdialogue boxes that teach you how to do everything. In Breath of the Wild, onthe other hand, you are always learning through experience and the gameencourages you to do that on your own terms.

It’s easy to get lost in the nitty grittyof what makes Breath of the Wild so great, and miss the bigger picture. Thisgame is beautiful. It’s engrossing. It’s the best opening of any console launchtitle I’ve ever played, at least back to Super Mario 64. And I can’t wait tospend 100 hours in its world.
