Acting as spokeswoman for the relaunched Request clothing line, Ashlee Simpson made an in-store appearance on Saturday at a Zellers location in Mississuaga.
The “Outta My Head” singer looked cute with her red locks in a ponytail, as her baby bump was visible under a black Request line shirt paired with a bright-orange scarf with white print, leggings and heels.
Following her in-store appearance, Ashlee headed off to grab a bite to eat at Tony Roma’s (of all places!), then jetting back to Los Angeles out of Toronto Airport.
Meanwhile, Simpson spoke with press as part of her promotional obligations, talking about her upcoming motherhood duties and clearing up rumors about a possible move out of LA.
Of her baby-on-the-way, Ashlee said: “It’s going to be very exciting. I think your mother instincts really kick in the day you find out that you’re pregnant and for me, it’s been a blast preparing for it, getting the nursery ready and all that. So, we’re both really looking forward to it.”
As for the rumored move to New York City or Chicago, Ashlee said that there are currently no plans to relocate out of Los Angeles.
“I would definitely look into moving,” she said. “We haven’t decided where we’re going to raise our kid but for the first year we’ll stay in California.”
