2016/1/22 After our couples massage (which btw was the best massage I've ever had) Alex had candles and rose petals prepared leading from the door to the bed and chocolate covered strawberries and a bubble bath ready. The cake in a jar and food was from room service later that night.

2016/1/22 Had a great 3 days in Maui and now we're off to The Big Island, Hawaii to stay with my mom at Kalani resort were she lives and works.

2016/1/23 When we got to the big island first thing we did was go to one of my favorite places, this lagoonish place that always has sea turtles and I got this awesome pic.
抵达大岛后，我们首先去了我最喜欢的地方。这片泻湖（萝卜写了错别字，lagoon的形容词形式是lagoonal）地带经常有好多海龟出没，我能拍到很多好照片。

2016/1/25 This is the spot and time my mom broke the news that our dog, Charlie passed away earlier that day. Since I moved to NY he has been living with a loving couple but he has been sick and passed away now. I love him so much and hope he is at peace.

2016/1/26 The first day we were on the Big Island we saw Hawaii’s State Bird, the Nene. They are pretty rare so that was cool. And he was not shy haha.
