Absolution is the washing away of sin, the promise of the rebirth, and the chance to eacape the transgressions of those who came before us. The best among us will learn from the mistakesof the past, while the rest seem doomed to repeat them. And then there are those who operate on the fringes of society, unbuedened by the confines or morality and conscience. A ruthless breed of monsters whose deadliest weapon is their ability to hide in plain sight. If the people I've come to bring justice to can not be bound by the quest for absolution, then neigher will I.
赦免是洗净罪孽的圣水，是赋予重生的承诺，是先人逃脱罪责的机会。我们中的智者从过去吸取教训，然后余下的凡人必定重蹈覆辙。而那些游走于社会边缘之人，会冲破道德的底线，卸下良知的包袱。一种残忍的野兽，其最致命的的武器是在开阔的视野里隐藏自己。如果那些我要审判的罪人无意于寻求赦免，我亦不会手下留情。

My dear Amanda,
In the pages that follow, I’ve attempted to piece together the ruthless betrayal that brought about my false imprisonment and our unbearable separation. I hope this chronicle will one day provide you an understanding of what I believe happened to me. If I’m at all culpable for what happened to us, Amanda. Believing in a system rigged against me by the people I knew as friends in a life I can no longer...It’s because I give away my trust too easily......Bill Harmon has been a close associate of the Grysons for years, whereas Conrad has.....Roger Halsted is a true friend. As for why would let himself be dragged into this.....I can’t claim to know Tom Kingsley very well in prosecuting the case against me. It’s clear that he buried evidence on behalf of the Grysons.

Forgive me my method, but I had to get you this message before I lost my nerve. Writing this down is my way of committing to you. I’ll tell you everything. How your father was framed, who was involved, and most importantly, how to expose them. I’ve never had the courage to do it myself, but I believe you do. Once we’re on neutral ground, I’ll help you. Until then, get as far away from these people as you can.

They say grief occurs in five stages. First, there’s a denial, followed by anger. Then comes bargaining, and depression. For most, the final stage of grief is acceptance. But for me, grief is a life sentence without clemency. I’ll never accept and I’ll never forgive. Not even after the man who killed my father lies dead at my feet.

每逢遇到抉择，我父亲总爱说：跟随你的直觉，他说，直觉总能帮我们作出最好的选择。正是直觉告诉我们，与谁为敌与谁为友，哪些人应该敬而远之，哪些人应该亲密无间。但我们常被恐惧、怀疑和固执的期盼所牵绊，拒绝聆听自己的直觉。

If we choose to, we can live in a world of comforting illusion. We can allow ourselves to be deceived by false realities, or we use them to hide our true intentions.

To successful create illusion, the first you need is trust. But to perfect an illusion, the false reality must appear as authentic as the one it hides. Careful attention must be paid to every detail. The slightest imperfection can, like a pin to a ballon, burst the illusion. And the truth behind the illusion becomes revealed.
要成功的营造假象，首当其冲的是信任。但要让假象臻于完美，就必须将虚假的事实，打磨的如同被隐瞒的真相一样真实可信。每个细节都必须谨慎对待，微乎其微的瑕疵如同扎在气球上的细针，让假象瞬间破灭。假象背后的真相，便昭然若揭。

prepararition,a plan will always have a weak point. And there will always be those looking to exploit it.
To doom a plan to failure,and the perpetrator along with it.
再周密的计划也赶不上变化。因为无论准备工作如何详尽，计划总有缺点。
总会有人想趁虚而入，让计划流产，致其失败，同时也葬送行凶作恶者。
Every plan has a fatal flaw.Sometimes it's the heart,even in those who are supposed to
be the most catrful.But a careful nature doesn't always ensure success.
When a plan is built on an unstable foundation, failure is not only a possibility,
it's a certainty.
每个计划都有它致命的缺陷。有时候缺陷正是来自于人的内心，即使是最小心谨慎的人也控制不了情感。

Sacrifice demands the surrender of things we cherish above all else. Only out of agony of those losses can a new revolution be born, an undying devotion to a cause greater than one's self, and a moral duty to see a journey through to its absolute completion.
牺牲意味着放弃我们最宝贵的东西。只有经历过失去的痛苦，才能树立起新的目标，为比自身更重要的东西而奋斗，至死不渝。我们有责任和义务洞悉一段旅程，看透终点的风景。
