BIO
My name is Audrey Karrasch.. I'm a singer/songwriter and I live in Charlotte, NC. I grew up in Reno, NV with 5 brothers and 1 sister. Music has always been in my life. I've been in bands, jazz bands, marching band, choir, girl bands, and it wasn't until I moved to NYC when I was 18 that I developed my own individual style of music. I was recently on a television show called The Voice. When I auditioned about this time last year, I didn't expect to make it as far as I did. Before I knew it I was on Usher's team winning my Battle Round, and shortly after in The Knockout's, one of the coolest/talented chicks ever, Michelle Chamuel, ripped my ass apart.. Haha!
The show was one of the coolest experiences ever. I met so many people, and I learned a lot. Not to mention, I now have an amazing platform to launch a career on. I also have a small fan base now.. which is pretty cool. Confusing, but cool.
Since getting kicked off the show I've been writing and recording as much as I can. I'm planning on releasing an EP as soon as possible, but I underestimated how many tedious details there are.... yiiiiikes!
THE PROJECT
My first solo EP. A lot more goes into releasing an EP than the songs.. luckily for me, the songs are finished, (yay, I did something right!)... But I can't release the package without the finishing touches. The business side to my music has always been a little foreign to me. Because I'm releasing my music without a label, I've taken most matters into my own hands. I'm now realizing the significance of a logo, the design, music videos, mastering, websites.. all of these things, unfortunately cost dough...
BUDGET
Mastering a single song costs approximately 100$... this puts me at about 600$ just to start with. The media and design (logo) will cost approximately 800$. I found a very talented group of people to help me with this, and I know that they'll give me exactly what I need in order to release and EP I'm so proud of.

I'll also be releasing a music video providing I make the goal of 3,000$.. I didn't realize how expensive music videos are.. (I know, my ignorance still shocks me sometimes)..
