Monday 4th I flew to Paris. I stayed five days and I shot on three of them. Two in the studio and one on location. First day I collaborated with a designer. She sent me two great corsets for my shoot. I’m so happy to work with her because her lingerie and corsets look fantastic. She’s going to design more lingerie for me so I’m thrilled that I will have something exclusive for my shoot. Right now I’m in contact with another designer who also has really interesting designed lingerie for my website :-)
So the first day I shot in studio two corset pictorials for my designer and one pictorial just for my website. I saw all the pictures and they looked great. one of the pictures will be used by a company that makes fashionable leather bags.
Second day was horrible :-( I shot on location with Christophe. I hope everybody remembers my lion pictorials? We shot in the same place. A friend of Christophe had done the production design in a new room. It was nice of him to call Christophe to shoot it. This artist is very talented and a really great designer. He uses very selective materials which can’t be found easily. Lots of things are from museums and right now he uses lots of stuffed exotic animals.
This time there weren’t any animals but there were animal skeletons. We had to be very careful with them because they were very fragile as you can imagine. Sometimes we didn’t have much space to work in so it wasn’t easy. The shoot went well but then at the end of the day we were shooting the last pictorial and I accidentally broke one of the skeletons :-(( It was my mistake but really I didn’t have enough space and then the light assistant broke a tusk :-((
The designer friend of Christophe was shocked but in the end he was not too upset. He was so very nice about it. He’s going to call a friend at the museum who can help repair the damage. It will cost about 4.000 Euros :-(( That‘s so much! More than $5000 but I’m sure that all these expensive things are insured. So now I’m worried that in 2005 I won’t have too much luck :-( so cross your fingers for me.
