And we're off, dear lords and ladies! Welcome to the #DowntonQA 活动开始
Q: You have got lots of new cast members this year - is there an initiation process for new members? 这季加入很多新角色 有没有搞欢迎活动？
Michelle: We did have one for Lily, Lady Rose. We knocked on the trailer door and when she opened it, we all cheered!
Q: Do you know much about what's going to happen before you get the scripts? 拿到剧本之前知道会发生什么吗？
Allen: We get a number in advance and then we get given them as we go along. You flip to the end to check you haven't died!
Q: Do you have favourite cast members you like to work with? 喜欢和哪位演员一起演戏？
Allen: Some of my favourite scenes have been with you (Michelle), and Rob James-Collier, because we get up to mischief!
Boyd asks if they still have a lot fun making the show... 主持人问拍戏是不是仍然很有乐趣
Michelle: Of course yes, it's always fun!
Allen: The breakfast scenes are the best because you get to eat great food!
Downton is massive in America, how has it impacted your life? Do people recognise you in the street? 唐顿在美国很火 这对你的生活有什么改变？ 有人在街上认出你吗？
Michelle: Yeah, It's amazing. People do come over and recognise us - more so in America, actually!
Allen: Yeah, you do get people taking photos of you. Sometimes quite sneakily on the train, for instance!

Q from the floor: Was your passion always for acting when you were small? 是不是从小就对演戏有热情呢？
Michelle: Yeah it was, I went to a stage school in my town. So I did dancing, singing and acting - but acting was my thing really!
Q from the floor: If you could hang out with any character from Downton Abbey, who would it be and why? 如果能和唐顿里的某位角色一起出去玩 希望那时谁&为什么？
Allen: I would like to see a day in the life of Carson, and see what he does. I'd like to hang out with him too!
Q from the floor: Allen, do you prefer acting with upstairs or downstairs? 问Allen是喜欢演楼上戏还是楼下戏？
Allen: It's very different and I like them both. I can't pick one! I have to say I love them equally.
Q from @presleighj: What do you enjoy most about filming Downton Abbey? 最喜欢拍摄唐顿过程中的哪一点？
It's such a laugh! Cast and crew are like family. It's also a lovely feeling to be part of something that's captured hearts!
Q from the floor: Since playing your character, has it influenced you off screen? 演这个角色对生活中的你有什么影响？
Michelle: Yeah, we've gone through a really fascinating part of history and I feel I've learnt a lot about women in that time.
Q from the floor: Are there any other Irish people on set? 片场还有其他爱尔兰人吗？
Allen: There's me! Oh, and Caroline McCall from Series 3 and Series 4. And Brendan Coyle!
