②有力回应了年龄和昙花一现的传闻。
③证实了在当今乌烟瘴气的说唱圈保持原始和本真并不是蠢行为。
对了还有一点Ugly as Fuck照样能取得成功
Doris是Earl已经去世祖母的名字，代表的不是自己的功绩，而是自己的故事，对于亲情友情战场等包围自己人生的因素所引申出来的故事，这些故事被朴实的音乐包围，又被Earl厚厚的嘴唇加工，录进了唱片，最后被放出来的时候仍旧保持着原汁原味的滋味，能做到这一点当属不易。7/10
一搓擅长曲风不同的大牌制作人也没有很大影响到专辑简洁利索的整体感觉，Earl自己也参与了的制作过程，Odd Future一向少采样和怪异的风格被广泛使用，给故事铺设了简单却让人印象深刻的情感背景。十五首歌只有Frank Tyler参与的歌曲里才能让听者从Flow中感觉到细微的情绪感觉，像Sunday蜜糖 523这样稍微脱离压抑背景的穿插作品也帮助专辑往灵活方面跨了一大步。7.5/10
鼓点是专辑最为怪异的一点，但仍旧保持着地下风格且不俗套.
整张专辑唱段平缓没有任何感情却能够刺进人心，稍显复杂的词句把情感部分表达到淋漓尽致，Rap战场上的狠劲（Hive），对父亲的深思无奈（Chum），对祖母去世的自责（Burgundy），和对名利的摒弃不屑，都研磨揉碎融合在了Odd Future标志性的怪异阴郁的beat之中，加上完全体会不到感情变化的Flow，形成了Earl独特的风格，如同一个面无表情握紧无声手枪的冷血杀手，不动一毫一厘从容举枪射击至敌人于死地。8/10复古灵活风格独特。
富于感情不缺狠劲。
不做作而保持真诚。
这就是现在Rap界所需要的，Earl用Doris一点不缺全部做到了。
在第一张作品Earl问世并且被complex评为2010年最佳的24张说唱作品之一后，事业刚刚有起色的Earl却被麻麻送到了Samoa，并足足消失了近两年才重回Odd Future和乐迷的视线，关于这一事件的原因杂乱无章众说纷纭，唯一值得肯定的是几年的积淀不仅让Earl从容地作出了一张词曲精良风格不俗套值得你细细体会的专辑，也让一个Junior King在时间的磨练下冉冉升起。8.5/10
