Maybe once everyone realizes that being plus size is not always about eating unhealthy and not getting any excersice then we can put a stop to these DUMB comments. I know at least TWO people who have had healthy diets and have been atheletes since they were kids and have never been able to be anything less than a size 12 or 14. Some people have illnesses that make it hard even impossible to lose weight and yet you decide to judge them because they decide to accept that and embrace their bodies? Having plus size models and clotheslines doesn't add to this so-called-epedemic you speak of but instead allows women to love themselves no matter what their appearance. Would you prefer to keep models and clothes lines centered around thin women and girls so that thicker women can keep hurting, being bullied, poked fun at and feeling worthless? Or would you prefer a society where everyone is accepted for who they ARE and not how they appear?

Many of us have very messed up metabolisms because of the obsession with the size 0. We starve ourselves and our bodies go into this mode where we finally allow ourselves to eat, it's stored, because our body doesn't know when it's going to eat again. My potassium levels are permanently screwed up. I have heart issues that were from congential heart defect exasberated by the diet pill fad in the late 90s.
I was a 'normal' bmi girl who had a minor 'pudgy' period during junior high when I started puberty. My family members decided to point that out, frequently.Add fashion magazines and television. Put in a pinch of self doubt when dating.TA-DA! Cue eating disorder and body dysmorphia that I battle to this day. The saddest part? I finally got happy with my body when I was struck with gastroparesis.
Screw all this crap about body size. Just be healthy. Stop talking about fat and start talking about food. Get rid of HFCS. Encourage healthier options for eating out, but stop focusing on 'fat" because you know what? F**k that. We are all godd**n beautiful and shaming people is a terrible way to teach them anything.

sorry about the rant, you know sometime i just hate to see ppl simply jump to the
        conclusion without knowing anything!
all in all, just be happy with who you are, eat what you love, and the bottom life is,life is so short, live yourself to its fullest. and this only matters..,well, to me atleast..
