he says "I was expecting BOOO!"
"you know，some people don't like oasis"
(girl in audience) "they suck!"
then some guy requests FOGHAT
Elliott: "um, I'm not in the right tune for that..."
"我还以为会被喝倒彩'BOOOOO'呢（这声音好可爱！）""你知道，有的人不喜欢绿洲"
一女孩："他们太糟糕了！"
一些人想听FOGHAT（这是什么歌？？）
elliott："嗯....我调错调了...."

01-31-2003 at Henry Fonda Theater 这场传说中最好的演唱会上
elliott说出了非常经典的一句话："Fuvking up is a part of it ,man.You must fail but you cant fail.I guess you have to always win,but I dont think you can always win."（大概是....混乱是生命的一部分，你很可能会输但你不能输。我觉得每次你都不得不赢，但你不可能总是赢。）
说完这篇至理名言后elliott很开心的问鼓手：第一句歌词是什么来着？

fan:I love you!!
elliott:I love you too, but you broke my heart(laugh)
Fan:why?!
Elliott:My heart bleeds because I....I...hehe....

"The whole situation was bizarre. When I was walking down the red carpet and everybody is snapping photographs I was right behind Madonna and I kept trying not to step on the train of her dress. I kept getting like crushed and I kept trying to get around it so as not to step on her dress. I finally had to squeeze past Madonna and in the way of some photographers to get past Madonna so I could not walk on the train of her dress. I was going into this like 5-6 hour long, sit down, can’t get up to make a sandwich, can’t get up and go to the bathroom.....you can, but they have these guys who come and sit in your seat. So there is some guy sitting with your girlfriend who’s just like, [makes a sour face]."

NYC - Town Hall February 2000 - Acoustic show
The place was sold out, totally packed (and that's a BIG place). It was a seated show, too Elliott was notably (and understandably) nervous, but he was striding ahead despite that.
Anyway, at one point, he said:
"Hmm. It seams so formal here. Not bad, just formal. Everyone's sitting down... I don't know."
To which a girl in the crowd responded: "At least we can see you Elliott!"
Elliott paused, looking more than a little uncomfortable, and said very uneasily, while making a kind of "Man this is weird" face:
"Hmmm.... I can .... see you too...."

Same show, he was beginning to play "Everything Means Nothing to Me" on guitar and when he started hitting those high notes - "everything means nothing to MEEE" - and he started coughing horribly! I guess he had a dry throat or something.
Well the crowd lost it and cracked up... it was pretty funny.
When the coughing fit subsided, Elliott looked at the crowd sarcastically and said, "Oh, you liked that one, huh?"
He could be a real riot sometimes.

票马上被抢购一空，全都被买了（这是个很大的地方！）这是一场每个人都坐着的演出，elliott尤其（可以理解滴）紧张，尽管如此他还是开始了
但在某一刻，他说：
“嗯....好象很正式。没什么不好的，只是正式..每个人的都坐了下来......我不知道。”
一个女孩在人群中回应说：“至少我们可以看到你elliott!"
Elliott:“嗯...我也可以看到你...”
同一场演出，他开始弹吉他唱Everything means nothing to me，当他碰到那些高音的时候—"everything means nothing to MEEE" - 他开始严重地咳嗽！可能因为喉咙太干了还是什么的...好吧，台下的人群都笑倒了
咳嗽平息后，elliott挖苦地看了看众人说：“哦，你喜欢那个，是吧？”
有时候他可以是个真正的"RIOT"...

he said the Oscars people were pressuring him to play miss misery, if he didn't they'd get someone else to play it.
“like Richard Marx. It's like Richard Marx is the universal scare tactic.”
奥斯卡主办方施压要Elliott唱miss misery,如果他不去就会有人代替他去
“比如理查德马克斯。这就好像理查德马克斯是通用的恐吓手段。”
