Official word from HIM manager Seppo, via the Official HIM Street Team regarding the album releases:
The release date for XX is October 26th in Finland.
Distribution of a physical CD worldwide is still being worked on.
At this time there’s not a US release date, but it will be available on iTunes.Sony is only releasing the XX compilation. Forthcoming 2013 studio album distribution/label is still open and HIM are looking forward to a simultaneous release worldwide.
Right now the release is tentatively scheduled for March 2013.

Ville has specified that the new studio album may be released under the title ‘Tears on Tape’, but this title is subject to change until the albums actual release.
