We discovered fresh tracks of the Msuthlu Pride heading west into our reserve. The light drizzle in the early morning had left the tracks crisp and clear, making tracking much easier. Following the trail, we located the pride resting in an open area. It was evident they had enjoyed a meal overnight, as they appeared noticeably fuller than the day before. They will likely spend the day in the same area, only retreating into the treeline once the clouds clear and temperatures rise, allowing them to digest their food before moving on again.
