Six of the Topi boys managed to take down a male buffalo. Everything seemed to indicate that the hunt would be successful until the herd arrived to assist it. The young hunters tried to hold their ground and fight against the herd, but unfortunately, they were outnumbered and had to retreat.
Refusing to give up, they spotted another solitary buffalo in the distance and decided to pursue it. The buffalo, feeling cornered, jumped into the water, surprising a nearby hippopotamus. However, the Topi boys refused to enter the water to kill it.
Later, they spotted four buffalo in the distance and decided to chase them. Eventually, they succeeded in catching one, allowing the buffalo trapped in the water to escape. Despite having full stomachs, the boys’ ambition led them to pursue the buffalo once again.
