- 这个时候Max又有了通过照片可以回溯时间的能力，并且再一次引起的暴风。
- 但是这一次Max可以通过自己的超能力去拯救不同时间线的人，这里就会经历类似1代里的噩梦关卡，救了很多人并最后找到Safi
- Max想让Safi回去，但是Safi这个时候已经完全黑化，她想让Max和一起用自己的超能力成为这个的神，统治这个世界？？ 她还说会去寻找世界上更多有超能力的人！
- 最终Max解除了风暴，（过程不清楚，好像还又一次失却了超能力）， Safi消失不见。

So I spent the whole day looking through most of the files in chronological order, here are the notes I took as I was searching so it might be messy. KEEP IN MIND that those are my interpretation of out of context and out of order voicelines and could be proven wrong when the game comes out:

episode 3:
-max reveals her powers to moses, prooves it by going to the other timeline and he witnesses her disappears into thin air (the scenes we saw in the origins trailer)
-alderman barges into max's house and says how he doesn't trust her, knows she's involved with the telescope appearing, investigated arcadia bay, a town linked to murders/freak storm (the scene we saw at the end of the latest trailer "all this death leads to you"), he also saw the incriminating photo
-> i'm not sure when that happens, but he confronts max and moses later, sees his other self i believe, touches him and disappears as he screams for help while max and moses watch him helpless. alderman is erased from existence, nobody excepts max and moses remember him and Safi's death investigation stop and is ruled as suicide, i think Max even tries to get in touch with the detective's mom? 1 2
-max keeps investigating about Safi's dead friend, Maya. with the help of Diamond, who wants to be the leader of Abraxas instead of Vinh, she confronts the latter who admits that Yasmin pushed him to say that Maya was troubled/had mental health issues in exchange of his administrative assistant position. Max does confront Yasmin about it
-maya was a student of Lucas and he stole her work which is why Safi hates him and wants to expose him. i believe yasmin protected lucas and this is why the mom/daughter relationship is strained
-i assume this is the episode where you can romance Amanda/Vinh, Max can say he's a good kisser, play smash or pass with him (i think with Amanda too?), it's also the episode where she says "let's thrash this place shaka brah" and i think she can watch a concert with Amanda at the bar
-at the end of the ep she comes home and notices someone rumaged through her evidence box who's none other than other!max. there's a chase sequence across both timelines and she ultimately catches her by switching the frozen lake with the one from the other timeline so they fall in the waterALSO max believes that other max is actually from the future, and that she travelled back in time with the photo but she still doesn't know why/if she killed safiafter catching her Max asks for explanation, says that they can't touch to not become like alderman but there's nothing more to it aside from other!max to tell her to fuck off. Hannah plays other!max like the alternate max from the two whales in polarizedbasically max always thought that there was only one max across both timelines so she's really surprised to learn she actually has a doppleganger but actually this doppleganger is none other than SAFI! and i think the episode ends with this reveal

-so Safi does indeed have powers and is a shapeshifter??? so the doppelgangers people talked about in episode 2 were actually Safi, for example she got Gwen fired because the latter wanted to kill Safi's book. she broke into Max's house because she thought she was covering for Gwen and couldn't trust her. she says she can only shapeshift into people she met irl.with the help of deadworld!moses and Safi disguised as Loretta, max sabotages Lucas' slideshow to expose him by showing Maya's draft and how his book was actually written by her. Gwen can admit herself and the university helped cover it.
-after that safi disappears and as max looks for her, everyone on campus starts having headaches. i think that happens when safi shapeshifts into someone, she leaves part of her inside them? she finds safi and yasmin at the overlook/near the observatory and it's revealed that Yasmin killed her book deal, not Gwen. So Safi freaks out on her mom, threatening her with a gun, but there's a lot of screaming because Safi can't control her powers anymore and she's not even herself. Max begs Safi to stop because what happened in Arcadia Bay is happening again, she says that the whole town is gonna be destroyed. max also has a line where she says that she can't use the doorways and thinks that it's because "the storm is screwing with her powers". so the storm is back? i guess? and the episode ends with safi shooting her mom?

-so the first files show what happened the night safi died. i don't know if max travelled back in time. there's a lot of context missing but i'm guessing that to create this loop of safi dying and max reactivating her powers, max has to shoot safi? max cries, says she doesn't want to choose between two shitty futures again, safi takes the picture of Max holding the gun before telling max to not stall, to pull the trigger.
-this is again confusing, so max is back in the present with the storm? looking for safi? and i think safi gets inside people's head when she shapeshifts? here's a line max says "If I superimposed two images of Moses on top of each other, maybe I could seperate the Safi parts out of Moses" so she removes Safi's part from people by taking photos of them
-max has a flashback? nightmare? vision? of the Blackwell Bathrooms where Chloe died. there's the line "when a door closes, a window opens", we can hear Max playing the part of Nathan and Safi playing Chloe's. she's looking for something in the stalls
-then the same thing happen but with max tied up in the dark room and Lucas playing the role of Jefferson and has to remove Safi's part from him too. i think he is hiding from the storm in the bowling alley from ep1? maya's memorial tree grew inside it too
-max helps removing Safi's part from Gwen too at the snapping turtle
-max ends up at a motel in Cleaveland and even sleeps on the bed?? there's a few lines about chloe leaving her lockpicking set to Max with a nod to them being "partners in crime". she sounds sleepy during the whole sequence-max ends up finding Safi, they hug. apparently the timelines started to combine. safi feels guilty about what she did but max convinces her they'll forgive her and that she's not a monster. it's this scene.
-so this is weird, idk if it's out of order but we're back to the moment safi shot her mom. safi does a 180 turn and she acts like some sort of vilain, she shapeshifts into Amanda, Vinh, her mom, tells max that she can just rewind to make her mother unsee what she saw or even undo the shooting but max says there's always a price to pay. safi says she wants to find other people like them, with powers and to start over with a clean slate.
-the aftermath of all this is that Safi left and everyone remembers everything, both timelines, safi fucking with their brains, max having powers. she's kinda relieved the truth is out but it also kinda freaks her out everyone knows her secret now. yasmin stepped down from her position. i found different lines for the conclusion of Amanda's romance, found a dialogue where amanda says "no offense but i think kinda dodged a bullet here" and max replies "no offense, i wouldn't wanna date me either"
-the very last lines are spoken by Safi and someone else : Safi : "We're gonna get you a blood transfusion, I've seen nosebleeds like that before. You remember me! That's flattering!" ??? : "Shit! What are you doing here?"Safi : "So you can run or you can follow me and get some answers. Your choice"some lines i found that were scattered. this is what Max thinks in her head, not dialogue : "This sounds like teenage Victoria but she was never this, dare I say, nice to me back then""Mom and Dad? Blackwell Academy? That was forever ago""I get it Joyce. Dating after everything that happened feels impossible""Oh Kate. You deserved better friends than the ones you were stuck with. Better than me.""Jesus. My first journal entry from when I got accepted to Blackwell""Chloe, god, Chloe. I'm sorry for everything, but I'm also so so tired of being sorry"So, in conclusion, seems like they're setting up a sequel with Safi as a vilain trying to find other people like her and Max (Daniel, Alex?). I've seen a lot of people talking about Safi traveling back in time and impersonating Chloe but I don't recall finding anything like that, I might've missed it though since I skimmed through a lot of files. But it seems unlikely, Safi can't time travel and doesn't know about Max having powers until episode 4. Towards the end Moses asks Max if she's going to go back to Arcadia Bay/stop hiding from Chloe depending on your choice but I couldn't find Max's answer.
