Yes, as soon as you leave the training ground there are fans waiting. It's just an honour to sign stuff for them. I was a kid once and I was waiting outside training grounds once. I used to go to West Ham's and wait for the players and I was buzzing if one of them stopped. After Jamie Carragher's testimonial they were all crowding round my car. It's a new experience for me.

You hear about the crowd and I've sat in the directors' box for a few games, but to actually be out there on the pitch, hearing the Kop - it's something that words can't describe. It is an unreal experience.

The ball dropped down so I thought I might as well just smash it, but I didn't catch it properly and it whistled past the post. Hopefully there'll be some more chances but I was fuming afterwards. If I get another chance I'll bury it.

Obviously I want more action and more first-team experience but I'm only young and it will come with time. I've got to keep training day in, day out and working hard. I'm still young and I've still got a lot to learn.
