美网官方列出了今年值得关注的资格赛选手，你蒙位列其中。
French veteran Gilles Simon is hoping for one last ride in New York. Simon, now 37, announced in May that 2022 will be his last season on tour, and hopes to play the US Open main draw for a 15th time.
While he's in the twilight of his playing days, the former No. 6 thrilled his home fans with a surprise run to Round 3 at his farewell Roland Garros tournament in May. As a wild card there with a ranking outside the Top 150, he beat No. 16 seed Pablo Carreno Busta and Steve Johnson, notching his 500th career match win in the process.
Simon reached the fourth round of the US Open in 2011 and 2014. Unseeded in qualifying this year, he'll face American Michael Mmoh in the first round.
