chuck schuldiner的死曾经有可能避免吗

在网上看到的资料，chuck在脑癌再次病发后因为缺钱而拒绝治疗，但如果他曾经的那些队友们借给他钱，会不会可以将癌症治好？比如说human那张专的吉他手Paul Masvidal，他的父亲是富商，如果他想帮助chuck而chuck也愿意接受帮助的话，chuck的死是否可以避免？虽然最后也有人为他募捐但毕竟错过了最佳时机。

那个年代癌症治疗技术应该比现在差的多吧。但肯定能多一线机会活下来。

一方面他自己可能不想治疗了，另一方面他的那些队友未必愿意借给他---取决于这些人手头紧不紧以及他们关系到底怎么样，我记得那个五月天的主唱说他们是队友不是朋友，我自己以前偶然和一个吉他手聊过，他们关系也很一般

Schuldiner was diagnosed with pontine giloma, a rare type of brain tumor, in 1999 and struggled to afford treatment (see "Death Metal Godfather Struggles To Fund Lifesaving Surgery"). The guitarist eventually underwent surgery for the tumor in January of 2000, and appeared to be recovering well in the months following the operation. Earlier this year, however, Schuldiner's condition worsened as his tumor continued to grow and proved inoperable.
