The idea is paying more attention on composition. You can write anything,a short essay, or even just a few sentences. They all make sense to improve your English.
Why it is?Think for a moment,when you try to write a simple essay. You have to think those words that you have known,and think some logics to make up sentences with words. The act will train your memory of English. And it's also your rehearsal when you try to speak English with someone in real world.
Another point, It's better to use the words that you have already known.
