外交部发言人耿爽今天（5日）正式卸任发言人一职。
“由于工作安排原因，我即将奔赴新的岗位。今天应该是我作为外交部发言人最后一次主持例行记者会。”耿爽在结束当日发布会时说。
发言过程中，耿爽一度哽咽：
由于工作安排的原因，我即将奔赴新的岗位。今天应该是我作为外交部发言人最后一次主持例行记者会。借此机会，我也对大家在过去近四年时间里给予我的关心、帮助、支持、鼓励表示衷心的感谢。
Due to work arrangements, I will soon take up a new post. This is the last time for me to hold a regular press conference as spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry. I’d like to take this opportunity here to express sincere thanks for your care, assistance, support and encouragement for me over the past four years.
作为一名中国外交官，无论走到哪里，我都会继续讲好中国故事，传递中国声音，为促进中国与世界的相互了解，增进中国人民与世界人民友好情谊作出自己的努力与贡献。在此跟大家道别，我们后会有期。谢谢大家。
As a Chinese diplomat, wherever I go I will continue telling China’s story and making China’s voice heard. I will play my part and make contributions to promoting mutual understandings between China and the rest of the world, and enhancing the friendship between the Chinese people and people in other parts of the world. 耿爽现年47岁，2016年9月出任外交部新闻司副司长。2016年9月26日，他首次以外交部发言人身份，站上蓝厅发布台，成为中国外交部第30任发言人。
记者会结束后，他走下发布台与现场中外媒体记者一一握手告别。
