Enya的歌一直都有种宗教赞美诗般令人安定平和的氛围，适合在冬夜室内或冬日淡薄阳光下静听。这里推荐的曲目其实陆续出自她几张专辑，官方也并没有Christmas Day系列的说法，只是某只自己去年冬圣诞时整理的一套合集，所选的都是自以为切合节日气氛的曲调。舒缓的女声宁静且略带清冷，坐在冬季窗外落雪的暖色灯光小屋里，让歌词把思绪牵延成悠长细致的回忆，如这个圣诞平安夜抑或新年前夕壁炉里飘扬着零星火花的炉火，温暖而又无声无息。
