The Lofters on the Message Board & Debbie- Hey Alex, These questions don't come from any one particular fan but rather many fans on our Message Board. They keep coming up and I thought maybe you could help us understand. We've seen the songs that are matching up with the bracelet promotion you are doing and the fans are wondering if you are ready to give us the final CD Track list. The twelve songs they are listing for download are a bit different than the track listing you published in your final studio video back in 2007. Many of us were hoping for maybe just an add or two of a song bringing the final CD to 14 tracks. Yes, we're greedy but we've had to be patient for so long!! What made you decide to go with 12 and why did you decide to drop "Cruel One" and "I'm Sorry"
Alex -Hey there:) Good questions! I have 16 songs total that have been recorded. For the bracelets I had to chose only 12....and then you get two more for free if you buy all 12 bracelets (so maybe one of the songs you mentioned will be one of the free ones;). And when it comes to what songs are going on the album and how many, I am still deciding what to do. I may add another song, like Cruel One to the actual album. I also may do that just for the international album and then on the US album do a different song or only 12 songs, but switch one from what the 12 bracelet songs are. I also need to keep a couple songs as B sides for single releases in certain territories. I hope that gives you a better understanding of it all! The bottom line is that in one way or the other, there will eventually be 16 songs available total out there, they just won't all be on one album. And to answer your question of why I didn't put Cruel One or I'm Sorry as bracelet songs; it came down to the meaning of the songs. I had to connect the lyrical meanings of the songs to what the bracelets stand for like "Health", "Success" and "Good Luck"...and you'll actually see on the bracelet's tag a description of what that bracelet can do for you (like "Good Health" will always be with you while wearing this bracelet), and the description is done using a couple lyrics from that song. I know this may sound confusing but when you see it all you'll understand! It's really cool:) So Cruel One and I'm Sorry just didn't fit with any of the 12 different bracelet meanings,
