Her first dream
She smiles a little and her big, brown eyes are kind of sad... encompasing all the hard work and sacrifices, all the suffering, pain and aches 
that the 18 years old gymnast has to go though to be where she is today...
For Ana, gymnastics is not a play, a game anymore. It's her life, her passion! 
She's talented, hard working and ambitious and she came from "Petrolul Ploieşti." 
Her objective, her dream: to become a champion @ Europeans, Wordls & Olympics too.

More ambition
Now she's training for the Worlds in London where she's hoping to get a medal on the AA.
After being 5th on the AA at the Europeans, she's become highly motivated, more ambitious! She knows that she can do better and she want to prove it! Her strong pain from Milan started fading and she's now more hopeful than ever!
"Without hard work, you can not accomplish anything! This year, after the Europeans, I had a hard time and it was difficult for me to regroup. 
Now, I am training hard as I want to improve the start value of my UB routine; I'll add a new connecting element on my BB routine; 
I am trying to grow on all the aparatus," says Anamaria.

Pain on the right hip
Now, Anamaria seems relaxed and the pain on her right hip from 1.5 years ago seems to be a thing of the past... 
A medical check-up in Italy (Bologna) few month ago concluded that femur is not seriously perforated (as thought before). 
The little problem that does exist makes the pain to be occasional, only once she makes certain moves. 
Per coach Nicolae Forminte, the doctors allow Anamaria Tămîrjan to continue training, but under supervision and with caution.

Anamaria Tămîrjan is 18 years old - for each year, one accident/ illness
Ana missed the Europeans in Volos in 2006. An accident on her elbow delayed her dream, but she did not give up!
In 2007, she became a senior and part of the Romanian team that went to the Worlds in Stuttgart. But there yet another accident (her knee)...
Had to take a break, to undergo recovery and then she traing hard for the next objective: the Olympics!
Before the Olympics, Ana proved herself on the FX at the Europeans (where she got the bronze medal).
The joy was shadowed by another accident... her hip... therefore, at the Olympics in China, she had to ensure pain and aches and compete under strong pain killers...

她错过了06年欧锦赛，当时的肘伤破灭了她的梦想，然而她没有放弃！
2007年，她进入国家队，开始比成年组比赛，并随队参加斯图加特世锦赛，但是带给她的只是膝盖处的新伤。
她不得不停下训练，好好康复。随后，她又一次努力训练，目标是参加奥运会。
奥运会之前，她在欧洲杯上，用一枚铜牌，证明了自己在FX上的实力。
快乐很快被髋处伤病带来的痛淹没，奥运会上，她打了强力止疼剂，保证不影响发挥，参加比赛。

双胞胎姐妹

现在，她为了伦敦世锦赛努力训练，目标直指全能奖牌。
在欧锦赛上获得第5之后，她在训练中更有动力和激情。她很清楚，自己可以做得更好，她要证明这一切！米兰的痛慢慢退去，她现在比以往更加充满希望！
她说：“不努力，只有一事无成。欧锦赛之后，我遇到一些困难，很难进入状态。现在，我训练得很好，我要提高我UB的D分，也会在BB上增加一个连接。我希望在所有项目上都有进步！”
