Hi Allen,
 
Ian has not been very active in public life in the past year except for a couple of events, such as support for Szechuan earthquake. However, in his personal life he has been quite busy. First of all school requires a lot more time with more homework. He has been learning new skills such as playing trumpet, sailing, and kungfu. Ofcourse he continues his favorite sports which are tennis and ski. His favorite hobby continues to be music and games on the internet, he's trying to set up a community web site for game enthusiast. All these school and other activities keep him very active.
 
I selected some pictures that represent the past year. There is ski in Canada the past winter. Then there is a 24 hour team sailing competition in Sai Kung, During Chinese New Year the family was in Shanghai and here Ian is standing on the Pudong side. Lastly there are 2 pictures of the recent summer vacation in the US. Ian is here pictured with his mom and on the beach of Venice Beach near LA. By the way, as you can see from the picture, Ian grew taller then his mom.

我精心的挑选了过去一年里一些有代表性的照片。有上个冬季在加拿大滑雪的照片。然后还有在西贡举办的24小时团队帆船赛的照片。春节期间我们家在上海，这张照片是滔滔在浦东照的。最后还有两张照片，就是这个暑假在美国拍的。滔滔和她妈妈一起站在洛杉矶附近的威尼斯海滩。顺便一提，正如你在照片中看到的，滔滔已经比他妈妈还高啦。
