Life here was so peaceful and separate that it seemed like a different life in a galaxy far, far away with another identity. Being reconginzed was rare, both unnerving and thrilling. It was a transitory but momentous event of two worlds having contact. Folks didn't expose their real life identity delibertely and ask friends to follow them. Secercy of double identity was the point. Be who you want to be that you cannot be in real life was the joy.
