關於新賽季的採訪 英文版~
“I would like to turn this into the season of challenging new things. So I’ve started with several small challenges, like skating to pieces I’ve never tried before and consciously changing the way I jump.”
Regarding underrotations,“I’ve noticed that skaters who are good jumpers keep their heads turned until the end, so I’m trying to imitate that. If I can do that, the rotational speed will be faster and the height of the jump will be bigger.”
Miyahara’s new SP is“Song for the Little Sparrow” (choreography by Lori Nichol), depicting the life of French singer Edith Piaf. Her new FS, choreographed by Tom Dickson, will be a combination of Astor Piazzola’s“Winter in Buenos Aires” and Vivaldi’s“Winter” from“The Four Seasons”.
“Both of my programs last season were creating an image of harmony, so I wanted to make completely different programs this season. My FS gives off a passionate and cool image. The SP is a great song that was recommended to me by Lori Nichol. I decided to challenge modern music in order to be able to own the free.”
