Hollyoaks hunk Kieron Richardson reveals plans for baby number THREE - and his excitement over Stephanie Davis' return
EXCLUSIVE: The soap star revealed his plans to expand his family to Mirror Online at the British Soap Awards
Kieron Richardson has revealed that he's ready to try for baby number three.
The Hollyoaks star already shares adorable twins Phoebe and Chase with husband Carl Hyland.
But now that they're one, the actor says they're keen to welcome another child to their gorgeous family.
Speaking exclusively to Mirror Online at the British Soap Awards, the 32-year-old said: "[Fatherhood] is amazing, it's so hard, I'm looking forward to have a night off tonight and them being with nanna and grandad so I can have a lie in and sleep, which is exciting.
"They're one now and we're going again for baby three very soon, because it is hard, so we'd like to get it out the way, and our surrogate wants to get her life back."
He added: "[The twins] chop and change all the time, she used to be like the classic cute one and he'd be independent and do what he wants, but now it's reversed. She's like the diva of the family and he's the one being all cuddly and lovey-dovey, so they change every week.
"In gender terms, we're done now because we have got one of each, so whatever baby, fingers crossed, we do get next we'll be happy with either sex."
Kieron plays Ste Hay in Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks, and talked to us about his upcoming wedding with Harry Thompson, played by Parry Glasspool.
He said: "At the moment we've been building up that Ste and Harry have got back together and they're saving for a wedding.
"Harry's been doing some dodgy things behind his back so people feel sorry for Ste. There will be a wedding, but it's a soap so I'm guessing something will happen, something huge."
But will poor Ste ever get his happy ending?
Kieron added: "I don't think Ste's ever going to get a happy ending, I think the moment he does get a happy ending that would be the end of the character.
"I guess sometimes people's lives can be a little bit miserable and they want to see a bit of happiness but there's other characters in the show for that.
"I feel like for him, if he gets a happy endning it's like, 'bye bye boring Ste'.
"Things are going to be stirred up for Ste once again when old flame Sinead O'Connor returns.And Kieron can't wait to be reunited with his pal Stephanie Davis , who left the show in 2015 after her character found out boyfriend Ste was having an affair with her teenage stepbrother.
Kieron told us: "Sinead's coming back, Stephanie Davis.
"I love her, everything's been like top secret but we've been like WhatsApping and ringing each other.
"Ste and Sinead have got a baby together, she'd just given birth to Hannah when she left so hopefully she'll be coming back with the baby.
When Steph left she was just Sinead to me but now she's some massive celebrity, and I'm like , 'Alright the new Katie Price, Kerry Katona', so it's exciting."
