Today, we start with the creating part. We got into our groups, we discussed the process and schedule with the group members, we discussed about the scrip of each person and tell the group members what we want them to act tomorrow when we are shouting. I looked at other group member’s scrip and their designs so do they. We tried to understand what each other’s plan tomorrow. After that, we discussed how long where going to spend on each area where we shout. There is a bit problem for me, that I don’t understand what Youn Ho’s scrip, I don’t get it, so we spend quite a long time on that. And Jessica hasn’t done her designs and script since her start later than us. I didn’t write today’s task on the Gantt chart. I started the Gantt chart with the shouting part, I forgot that discussion of the script and plan for the shouting part is also included in the create part.I would include that next time. And I should do a more detailed script because my script is quite simple, so it’s a bit hard to understand; I took some time to explain to the others. If it’s more detail, include the location and how long it need, ect. Then my script will be much easier to understand and easier to follow.

Today, we did the film part; it went through quite different as what I said in the Gantt chart. I did finish the tasks I said I was going to do in the Gantt chart but I did those into different orders since. Because I listed the tasked by scenes, so some of them are upstairs, some in block 5s, some at lower car park. And the Group members are all doing different things. So we changed the plan to film by locations, we went from up to down. The filming went smoothly, I used less time than what I though because I didn’t use the spear time. Most of the films are pretty good, so I don’t need to redo it.And I deleted one of the videos of plants near the blue bench because there is a part in the introduction, which is alike to it. I think it’s repeated so I just took some images of the plants instead.After that we went back to the classroom to upload the video. I can’t upload it as I planed because I don’t have the cable or card reader with me so I did it at home later.

Today, I started to edit the video. I begin with drag them in the timeline and add transitions and effects for the first scene. I finished a bit earlier than what I said on the Gantt chart. So I did some work on the scene two as well. I did all the tasks on the Gantt chart. I’ve changed the size of the font used for the title and subtitles. I found that it’s quite small on the video so I just made it bigger and I also changed the color from olive green to black because the background color doesn’t looks nice with white and black is much better and it’s clearer and has a better contract. That’s why I changed it.

Today, I did my video on another separated windows moviemaker file because I couldn’t open it. I did less work than the Gantt chart. This is due to the different file type I saved at home; the school windows moviemaker in school has a different vision that doesn’t support the file. It took quite a long time to figure out how to make it work. After a while, it sill didn’t work. I don’t want to spend that much time on just trying to open it, so I opened another work sheet to work on the second edits the sport part of the video.

And I didn’t finish as much as what I said on the Gantt chart because we had art week, so we used a lesson on that instead of working on the video. Also I spend about 10 minute on trying to open the video I worked. So I wasn’t able to finish it as I planed. That’s because I didn’t thought about these thing. It’s unexpected.

I putted the part I did last lesson and the one I got before which couldn’t open at school together. And I also added music on. Since I didn’t finish what I should on the lesson due to the unexpected things, eg. The file is not supported. So I did afew of the task at home try to catch up.

Today, I worded on the tasks that I suppose work on Thursday, 26th Feb. I only finished half of the tasks of what I said I’m going to finish in the Gantt chart. I did some editing left over from last scene and the credits. I haven’t put the music yet.And I changed the transition from fade out to wipe, narrow right because I already had some clips that I used fade out/ in as the transition so I decided to use a different one. I think variety of transitions of effects will make the video more interesting and attractive. I also did a change on some of the videos, I muted some part of the sound because if a few clips, there are noise that sound terrible. So I made the background music louder in that some parts. I think it would sounds much better with out the loud noise.

Today, I finished the video and I made some changes to improve the video, such as try different transitions to see which one looks the best with the video. And I also added the last part of the music on. For the extra time left, I used it to check if I finished the entire task and try to fix any problems left and make it better.
On my Gantt chart, I said everything will be finished on yesterday but I wasn’t able to finish it because we missed a lesson due to art week. So I decided to do it at home. And I caught up the most of the tasks at home and then I finished all the tasked today.
