注释:This build changes more in look then the previous builds.
During Setup the ''Billboards'' are changed around and some new ones are added, every 5% there is a new one, in the final stage of the setup you notice a lighter gray and blue gradient dialog box and after setup you notice why.
This build removes the old greenish Windows 95/98 background for the Windows 2000 Blue one and lighter gray and blue gradient tops.
In the Control Panel there is now also Scheduled Tasks and some applets were moved do due a rename and some got a new icon.
Update Settings as it is now called is no longer a HTML application.
Also in the Explorer View the C:\ drive root view is also hidden with the gear picture.
MSN Messenger Service is upgraded to version 2.1 as well as System Information to Version 6.0 and is now included in the Help and Support which takes a lot of time to build up for use the first time.
System Restore has some cosmetic work done, removing the brownish to clouds.
New to Windows is the Movie Maker codenamed MEDIAPAD (the executable is also named that way), build 1200.（不想翻译）
注释:If you use Microsoft Virtual PC (which is recommended for older Windows Operating Systems) make sure you upgrade from Microsoft Windows 98 or a previous Microsoft Windows ME build (such as 4.90.2394.0).
This is because the installation doesn't install the correct Display Driver and VMAdditions and/or S3 Display Drivers don't work.

首先，根据tcb的图，setup的带人的图的文字改了，经典主题上线了，最后一个框变了，其他没变……开工

这个版本比更老的版本（2419）改动了很多地方。安装期间，这个叫“Billboards（其实就是复制文件的时候的什么“Windows just gots better”之类的有小人的板子）”内容有部分变化（到时候请去wvb看我的帖子），每百分之五就变一次（废话，早就是了），最后配置阶段时你会发现后面那个框框的标题栏变成亮灰色渐变了（其实就是经典主题），前面的框框的标题栏是深蓝色渐变到浅蓝色（原译文是说梯度渐变），安装后你就知道为啥是这个界面了。
这个版本移除了95/98的青绿色壁纸，把界面改成了2000的蓝色界面和亮灰色、蓝色梯度渐变的标题栏了
控制面板里现在加入了时刻规划表?（到时候看我帖子吧） 一些小程序由于被重命名而被移位（走位），有的换了个新图标。升级设置（也许是Windows update的）被称为不再是HTML程式了。
在资源管理器中，查看c盘下被隐藏的目录时会出现一个带齿轮的图片
MSN的信使服务升级到了2.1版本，同样，系统信息的版本升级到了6.0，它被完全包裹在帮助与反馈中心里了（其实TCB火星了，上个版本就有了）帮助和反馈中心在第一次运行时会用大量的时间为第一次运行做准备系统恢复被做了一些美化工作，并且移除了褐色的云……
此版本的win特点是出现了movie maker（没人用，对了我发不了表情了，手动阴险）当然他不叫movie maker，他叫MEDIAPAD（手动喷）（这个可执行文件也被以那种方式命名，看不懂），build号1200

修复:如果你这人的又妄图用VPC来掩盖此版本的问题（我没骂人，只是搞笑一下（推荐从老版本的Windows操作系统执行），请确保你从98或者一个老一点的mebeta升级（比如2394）。
这是因为2452这个build依然懒得给你安装正确的显卡驱动，vmaddition或S3显卡驱动不能工作
