Dear Students,
亲爱的同学们：
Recently, some individuals, most probably Yew Wah students, have been posting messages in Chinese on the internet saying bad things about other students. Such actions are unfair and wrong, because the writers are judging other people and saying they have bad behavior without knowing all the facts. Also, the posting of such messages does not come out of true concern for others or from a caring heart. The principal hopes that any student who has participated in such gossip and slander will stop immediately and will encourage other students to stop such actions immediately. Gossiping and slandering others with the intention of hurting them ultimately hurts the one doing the gossiping and slandering because it changes your personality from a loving one which is attractive to others to one that is cold and cruel.
最近，有些人，很可能就是耀华的学生，在网上用中文发表某些言论，对其他同学进行中伤。这样的行为是不公平，也是错误的，因为写这些文字的人在没有了解全部事实的情况下就评判别人，说别人行为不检。另外，这些内容也不是出自于对同学真切的关怀和关爱。校长在此希望所有参加过这个行为的同学立即停止这种流言和诽谤，并且希望你们能鼓励其他的同学立即停止这样的行为。怀着伤害别人的目的而进行的恶意诽谤最终会伤害到传播流言的这个人本身，因为这改变了这个人的个性，把一个充满爱心受人喜爱的人变成一个冷酷无情的人。
As principal of the school and a longtime friend of the Chinese people, I wish only the best for each one of you, and so I sincerely request that each of you do the right thing and avoid doing anything, including posting things on the internet, to hurt another person.
作为这个学校的校长和中国人民的长期的朋友，我真心的祝福你们每个人，所以我真诚地希望你们每个人能明辨是非，而不要做伤害他人的事情。
