Chapter 1 The river
Pieces of my heart were wet with melancholy, I turned those depressed pieces silently, trying to let out a gently sigh. Unfortunately, I felt hard to breath, perhaps because there were some moods deeply lodged in my throat.
Well, why should I think about these? What a fool I was that wasted time to care about unnecessary things, making my restless heart much heavier. I took the walk for relax, not for trouble, I told myself once and once again.
This was a nameless river, beside which were a large clump of nameless shrubs, whose branches spread dendrites, like the mist, separating the lights faraway from me. The other side was covered in deeper and thicker darkness, everything was hiding in unknown shadows. I threw a stone in the river, the water was so deep that hardly could I hear the sound of stone sank to the bottom. The stone, just like my mind, was drowning in the river...
It doesn’t matter, I can swim.
Suddenly, inexplicably, I loved it. Its loneliness, its quiescence, its flow.
Time stopped, but the wandering vicissitudes kept flowing, forever.
I came to see the river every day, and let it take a look at me too.
Happiness in calm.
