瑞贝卡·查姆博丝与克莱尔·雷德菲尔德对视着，年轻的医务兵长着一对碧绿的眼睛，毫不畏惧地看着克莱尔。后者有着一双雷德菲尔德家特有的蓝色瞳仁，此时正散发着恼怒的光芒。
“下次不许那样子喊我！”
瑞贝卡嘻嘻笑着，无辜地问道：“叫你什么？克熊？”她知道这位深棕红色头发的伴侣可不会就这样毫不介意地接受这个笨拙的外号，所以她马上从她们同榻而眠的床上抓起一个垫子，抢先展开对克莱尔的进攻。
这一场枕头大战结束后（结果是瑞贝卡完全落下风），两个年轻的姑娘倒在柔软的大床上笑得几乎没力气。克莱尔懒洋洋地凑近前S.T.A.R.S队员，亲吻这个棕色头发的女孩。
然后她停下来温柔地说：“可再也别再在那么多人面前那样子喊我了，不然我的名声可就完啦。”瑞贝卡点点头，斜靠在克莱尔身上重新夺回她的双唇。
瑞贝卡忽然醒了过来，她环视着这间漆黑凌乱的房间，月光从被木板围闭起来的窗户中倾泻进来，使房间里多了一些亮光，却同时让它笼罩着一层令人毛骨悚然的诡秘气息。瑞贝卡想起刚才她和克莱尔·雷德菲尔德----那是她的恋人-----都出现了的梦，脸上浮现出一丝笑意。但很快她的神色沉重起来，因为事实上，克莱尔正在卧室门外和一大群天知道有多少的不顾一切想冲进来啃咬瑞贝卡的丧尸作战。而现在看来，那扇摇摇欲坠的门大概也支撑不了多久，潮水般的丧尸随时都会破门而入。
瑞贝卡拾起身边手枪----这把枪陪她渡过了无数惊心动魄的生死劫难，可以说是她的信心源泉，但这一次恐怕它也无能为力了----看看里面还有多少弹药。只剩一颗子弹了，瑞贝卡笑了笑，将那颗孤单的子弹放回手枪里，拿着它对准了自己的前额。
就在这时，卧室的门终于整个塌了，无数的活死人出现在瑞贝卡所在的卧室里。瑞贝卡看到克莱尔的尸体摇摇晃晃地朝她走去，曾经秀丽的脸颊上挂着几片被咬下来的肉，浑身布满血迹和被啃咬的伤痕，眼睛里只剩下空洞的对血肉的渴望。她感到簌簌的热泪从她充血的眼睛中流出，就在即将沦陷于丧尸的疯狂进攻之际，她满心悲痛地大喊道：“永别了，亲爱的克熊”，随即扣动了扳机。

Rebecca Chambersstared eye to eye with Claire Redfield. The medic’s green eyes stared intoRedfield sibling’s blue ones as the other woman glared at her.
“Don’t ever callme that again.”
Rebeccasmirked and innocently asked, “Call you what? CLAIRE BEAR!?” The auburn haired woman wasn’t going to takethat soft nickname lying down, so she promptly picked up a nearby cushion offthe bed the two women shared, and started to mercilessly beat the other womaninto submission.
After theresulting pillow fight, (where Rebecca was soundly beaten) the two young womenfell into the big, comfortable bed laughing. Claire lazily rolled on top of theformer S.T.A.R.S member and started to kiss the brown haired woman.
She stopped andgently asked the other woman, “please never call me that in public. Ever. My repwould be in tatters.” Rebecca nodded and leaned up to recapture Claire’s lips.
Rebecca suddenlywoke up. She looked around the dark, messy room as moonlight from the boardedup window served to add some light to the room, but caused a very creepy effecton the bedroom. Rebecca smiled at the recollection of the dream of herself andher girlfriend, Claire Redfield. Then Rebecca’s face fell where the other womanwas: banging on the bedroom door along with a group of God knows how manyfellow zombies trying to get in and eat her flesh. And by the looks of thesplintering door, the horde of undead would break in at any second.
Rebecca pickedup her trusty handgun that lay beside her and check the ammo. One bullet left. Rebeccalaughed at this and put the singular bullet back into the gun and pressed thecool mussel of the black weapon to her forehead.
Just then the doorfinally gave, letting the many undead into the room along with corpse of ClaireRedfield. Rebecca felt tears spring from her blood shot eyes when she saw Claire’sbody walking toward her, pieces of flesh were hanging off her once beautifulcheeks and bite marks and blood covered her body. Before the pack of zombiesreached her, Rebecca sorrowfully said, “Good bye, Claire bear.” Then she pulledthe trigger.
