Good morning professors,my name is jinyunyao,thanks for giving me an opportunity for this interview and i hope i can make a good performance today.let me introduce myself briefly.
In 1995,I was born in shaoxing,zhejiang province,which is a city with a long history of more than 2500 years.Shaoxing is the birthplace of many famous scholars, writers and artists, including Lu You,a famous poet in the southern song dynasty ,Cai Yuanpei, a famous educator, Lu Xun, a novelist, as well as Qiu Jin, a heroine.live in this ancient city,i was interested in learning history since my childhood.when i was 18 years old,i was admitted to handan college as a major in history.handan is also an ancient city with a history for more than 3000 years.during the past four years,i have learned many specialized courses and read many kinds of books .in the first year in college , i was indulged myself in library from8 o’clock to 18 o’clock.i read history,literary,philosophy,English ,arts,and even geography.i was astonished by the progress that i had made and now I really miss the time when the sun shines on my face through the window of the library in the evening.
What’s more, i successfully passed the CET4 and CET6.Luckily,during the second semester of my sophomore year，i won the second prize of the national English contest for college students.after the contest,i started to read professional articles in journal which helped me lay a foundation for learning history.
After several years of study,i found myself more interested in learning history ,and i aspired to do history research. .But i realized that what i had learned was not enough for my goal. I’m eager to further my study and raise my professional level.
