Mariah was mentioned on two TV shows last night.
UGLY BETTY
When Betty invites her neighbor and crush, Jesse, to the Mode Fashion Heats Up party, Jesse misunderstands and thinks that she wants his band to play. The next day, Betty tells her boss Daniel that she's found somebody to play at the party.
Daniel: "Already done. Guess what? We got Mariah Carey. It turns out Connor knows her. Isn't that great?"
Betty: "Oh. Um, yeah. I mean Mariah is alright. But can we just put a pin in her for a second 'cause I think I found someone fresher - Jesse's band 'Dark Sexual Journey'."
(Daniel makes a fake phone call to Mariah)
Daniel: "Hey, Mariah, it's Daniel. It turns out we're not gonna need you to sing. We got Jesse. The guy from my assistant's building. He is so cute. He is just the dreaminess."
Betty: "I hate when you're sarcastic."

Mariah was also mentioned last night on NBC's Kath & Kim which stars Molly Shannon (Kath) and Selma Blair (Kim) as the hilarious mother-daughter duo. Kim was trying on clothes and Kath said to one outfit, "Oh Kim, that is adorable! It's very Mariah Carey. No, you know what? Very Miley Cyrus. So cute."
