In my mind, dota is not just a game but an artwork. But someone is trying to convert it from a work of art to a profitable tool. As I know, every author of dota periodical or longterm update this map just for pure artist creation. That's the vital difference between dota and other moba game which means updating is not a commercial activity.
Acorroding to his own explaination, without the 09PLATFORM, the new map can not run independently. He did not let the programmer he hired pay more attention to fix the flaw of the new map but put forward his own game platform and tell dota1 funs that to play on 09PLANTFORM or say goodbye to 6.84. Finally we can see his greedy face. Updating for users(as he said) or for art creation(who knows?) is not his initial intention. It is the business and the reputation of 09PLATFORM that he cares only. Why you can bare that someothers using your ideas which I can conform that you did a elaborate research for every data update to do business for his private interests? You give those data to balance the game and creat new items in the game but he catch up your work just for earn more money. We have to admit that he did do a lot of job and deserve some applauses but not chock up his wallet. That's not dota! Once he cannot inplement 7.00 after few years, I can bet that he will shout out that words which like another moba game advertisement words that WHY DOTA1 MUST BE SAME AS DOTA2. Your doing–nothing is a shield which give 2009 an plausible excuse to pursue his own interests with your hands.
I suggest you to warn him because you got the copyright and our voice that whether update the map to a independent version or quit. Hope you think it rigidly.
