Typhoons do fly from aircraft carriers but they're STOBAR (Short Take-Off but Arrested Recovery) variants so absolutely no use on a QE carrier that has not arrester facilities...

Typhoons cannot fly off of the QE Class carriers. The headline is again misleading. The F-35B STOVL jets can launch and recover off the carrier as designed. The Typhoons will fly have to fly there on their own or unceremoniously be hauled off the deck by cranes on the dock side!!

Disagree all you want Andrew but it's a fact. BAE SYSTEMS built prototypes for the Indian navy. They're not in production as such but they exist. It's unlikely they'll ever get used though as navalising them adds in excess of 500kg to the weight of the aircraft and as such plays havoc with the way it flies. Go and read up on it for yourself...
