Sunny Disposition: Can someone who does extreme sports and plays all kinds of ball games be averse to the sun? Of course not!
Sea-soned Sailor: While Ix is known to be an avid sportsman, many are perhaps not aware that he is adept at operating sailboats and pleasure craft as well. "I have taken part in a number of regattas," he says, "and so I'd like to think I make a competent sailor." As for seasickness, he claims he hardly gets it. "Even if I do get seasick, I don't mind. Better still - can sleep!"
Uniform Look: Playing CPT Jeff Shen, an XO of a Missile Corvette (MCV), Ix gets to don the various Navy uniforms. He has a soft spot for the No. 1 uniform, which viewers will see him in when his screen character marries Ann Kok's in a grand military wedding onboard an LST. He says: "The No. 1 uniform is full-white and that makes it very outstanding."
