Happiness:hedonism may perfectly explain why happiness matters , the only thing I'm not agree is that I think happiness is not the only important thing for one's life .
Safety:safety is good enough to improve a life just on its own.Imagine there's a person who's extremely happy but he has to worry about he might be attacked or killed by other people or animals, compares to a person who's also extremely happy but does not has that kind of concern.I think most people would say the first person's life is worse than the second, that the point of safety.
Health:you might feel very uncomfortable if you are not healthy. And you can't do many other things (like hiking, studying) if you are not healthy, your life would be provided less freedom in that way. Also a better health usually means longer life expectancy,so people have longer time to live with their families and enjoy their lives.Life will be improved if the person's healthy.
Freedom:having freedom is a SUPER important factor of my life. For me,freedom means have the ability to make the decision of my own life.I can choose my own major which may make me feel happy and I am able to move to another place if I'm tired of living in one society over my whole life. And even having freedom would not make myself feel happy,I would still think it's a good thing by it self because I thing I can hold my life in my own palm.
