关于MNL48的推测我以前另外写过一帖，

原定的剧场出资方是三菱商事，可能由于资金不到位，所以实际启动比原计划推迟了近半年，而且规模也缩小，原定的电视选秀被弱化，剧场也改到地下停车场了

The group is divided into three teams: M N & L and follow a ranking system similar to that of AKB48. The MNL48 ranking system comprises of a Center Girl, Super 7, Selections (all-stars), Under Girls, Next Girls, Future Girls and Kenkyusei (trainees).
报名条件
先是应募者自己报名，上传照片视频，由饭投票选出前200，再由秋元康从中选100人，训练后开始一人一票的大众投票，选出前48人。

Qualified applicants will be notified and will go through the next stage of the audition, selection and elimination process.

• Top 100 will start their intensive training for the General Election

这样看企划感很强，感觉像是tie海女里的总选举模式（85集以后），团内分队可能也是按总选排，末位淘汰。hallohallo在上马MNL48以前先在菲律宾电视台赞助播海女，估计效果不错所以本团都tie海女模式。真正出道的应该只是最上面的十几人吧，下面研究生本来投入就不大，进进出出其实也没实质影响
而且有人可能会怀疑马尼拉的经济规模，其实wiki上有世界都市圈人口排名，定义是按人口密度400人/km2以上建筑连续市域，马尼拉2015年人口2412万，是全球人口排名前5的大都市（同样定义上海人口2342万、北京2101万，东京3775万、雅加达3009万、曼谷1500万、台北744万）
而且菲律宾虽然穷、马尼拉并不穷，行政上的首都圈人口1265万、GDP1109亿美元，按都市圈算规模还要更大，原数据见
http://tieba.baidu.com/p/4700936734和国内类比的话，去年南京的gdp是9720.77亿，以现在汇率算1411亿美元，烟台去年是6300亿元，相当于914.7亿美元，中国的“市”是行政概念，这些数字都是包括农村和郊区工业企业的总和，并不是市区的gdp（而国外很多地方相反，城市是超出行政的，比如大马尼拉市区人口几乎是行政上的首都圈的2倍）
按上述英文维基List_of_urban_areas_by_population词条数据，南京市区人口615万，烟台152万，两相比较一增一减，实际上马尼拉的城市经济规模也就仅次于国内北上广深，比武汉南京以降都多。只看人口规模的话马尼拉甚至比纽约上海都大
简单说就是人均不如国内大城市，但人口比国内多，GDP总量不比国内差。这种经济结构下粉丝经济不容易发展，靠浅层明星经济赚大众和商家钱的可能性更大，所以马尼拉的总选才会强调1人1票。JKT其实也是这样，电视资源很多、在印尼是大明星，但死忠饭少，就是靠代言赚钱
