今日移交起跑及終點巨型橫幅予Fitness Zone健身中心董事經理吳尊。
在移交儀式上，吳尊移交 She Runs 活動T恤予吳尊。這項移交儀式是在久納Fitness Zone
健身中心的籃球場舉行。
向來在慈善事業不落人後，非常熱心的陳嘉興表示，只要是慈善活動上，將不落遺力去
幫助有需要的人士或是團體。
他說， She Runs 是個很好的活動 倡導健康生活外也做到了慈善的作用。聯利有限公司
對于回饋社會的慈善活動一直不饋餘力 并在不間斷的參与慈善活動。
聯利有限公司已經第二年贊助She Runs全女性慈善趣味競走活動。
陳嘉興在移交儀式后，捐錢入捐款箱，以示支持汶萊癌症兒童基金會以及汶萊特殊
奧林匹克組織。
吳尊受訪時表示，感謝陳嘉興的慷慨解囊贊助 She Runs活動 ，並希望未來有更多社會
善心人士的參与，幫助社會的弱勢群體。
他說，慈善事業是需要更多人參与才會辦得更好 讓更多有需要人受惠而She Runs活動
就是在這宗旨下舉行 希望可透過是項活動可讓更多的民眾可參与慈善事業。
他稱 是項活動反應非常熱烈 今年報名人數經已高達2000千人比往年的參加人數提升。
今年的報名人數比他們預期的來得多 但因場地安全問題 主辦方被迫需限制人數 而
對于無法參加的民眾深感謙意。
屆時將有來自16個國家吳尊的粉絲參与這項2016年第二屆 She Runs全女性慈善趣味
競走活動。
主辦單位感謝所有汶萊女性公民，旅居汶萊的女性居民，遊客們的踴躍參與，支持這項
She Runs慈善活動，活動所籌得的款項將悉數捐給汶萊癌症兒童基金會以及汶萊特殊
奧林匹克組織。
第二屆She Runs全女性慈善趣味義跑將在本周日（15日）上午7時在摩拉路瑟魯索（Serusop）的 Fitness Zone健身中心舉行，慈善趣味競跑分為3.7公里以及5公里兩組。
在當天瑪絲娜公主將受邀出席為第二屆 She Runs全女性慈善趣味競走”活動主持開跑儀式。

IT’S only a matter of days before close to 2,000 ladies will run the race for charity
and organiser Fitness Zone has been gearing up for its highly anticipated event.
At the fitness club’s Multi Purpose Hall yesterday, Fitness Zone unveiled
She Runs 2016’s official start and finish banner to members of the public.
Present at the handover was Fitness Zone’s Managing Director Wu Chun and
Managing Director of D’Sunlit Sdn Bhd Jackson Ting.
In a statement, Wu Chun said that the fitness club is happy that D’Sunlit has
once again given its support to the charity event.
“D’Sunlit has been very generous with the sponsorship by printing all our marketing collateral and we really appreciate their contribution in making a difference to the lives
of those that need our help,” said Fitness Zone’s managing director.
In preparation for the upcoming event, Wu Chun, who is also the nation’s international
artiste, said, “Although this is a fun run, especially if this is your first-ever run, when
you feel like you’re giving up on your trail, just remember, speed is not what matters,
but to reach your goal. To get there. To finish with a purpose!”
She Runs 2016 is slated to take place on May 15. The run will see the participation
of women from 16 countries in two categories: 3.7km and 5km.
Meanwhile, Fitness Zone’s Events and Exec Assistant Shelley Busque in a
press statement said She Runs 2016 kit collection is taking place from May 10 to 13.
She added, “We have decided to change the original (collection time) from 3pm to 9pm
to an earlier time of 12noon to 9pm from Tuesday to Thursday, and on Friday from 2pm
to 9pm to pay respect to the prayer time and to give convenience and flexibility to the
ladies.”
Participants are reminded to bring along their receipts when they come to collect their kit.
The first 200 to sign up are also reminded to receive their goody bags from The Body
Shop.
In addition, the club will be having a special promotion for the ladies who will sign up or renew their membership.

2,000 set to join ‘She Runs 2016’
A TOTAL of 2,000 female runners from 16 countries will participate
in the She Runs 2016 event, set to take place this Sunday at the Serusop branch
of Fitness Zone.
The number of participants has exceeded last year’s count of 1,300 people.
“I felt overwhelmed by the growing number of participants for this year’s ‘She Runs’.
The participants are not joining the event for running only but to also raise
awareness on women empowerment as well as to give back to the society,”
said Wu Chun, the Managing Director of Fitness Zone.
“United, we can be an unstoppable force to render help to those who are in need,”
he said on the sidelines of the handing over of the sponsored She Runs 2016 official
start/finish banner by D’Sunlit yesterday.
The banner was handed over by Jackson Ting, Managing Director of D’Sunlit
to Wu Chun at the Multipurpose Hall of Fitness Zone in Kiulap.
Regarding the sponsorship from D’Sunlit, Wu Chun said, “Fitness Zone
has been working closely with D’Sunlit. We are really happy having them again this year.”
“D’Sunlit has been very generous in our charity event and we really appreciate their contribution to make a difference in the lives of those who are in need of our help,” he added.
Meanwhile, Jackson Ting said, “We are also happy to be involved in charity activities, especially She Runs that promotes women empowerment.”
About the upcoming run, Wu Chun said that the runners, especially those who
are joining for the first time, should have fun.
“Speed is not what matters, the goal is to finish with a purpose,” he said.
Meanwhile, Shelley Busque, Wu Chun’s Marketing and Executive Assistant, said,
“The ‘She Runs 2016’ kit can be collected from May 10 -12 from 12pm to 9pm and
on May 13, from 2pm to 9pm.”

Consumer fair to feature ‘Biggest Deal in Town’

THE 18th Consumer Fair will be dishing up sweet and savoury delicacies
as well as all kinds of local and international specialties this time around.
Scheduled to take place from May 25 until 29 at the International Convention Centre
in Berakas, apart from the Food Fest, the event will feature the ‘Biggest Deal in
Town’ for visitors to enjoy great discounts.
This was announced during a signing ceremony between the organiser,
D’Sunlit Sdn Bhd, with its official event and activity partners, at its premises yesterday.
Present to put pen to paper was Managing Director Jackson Ting, accompanied and witnessed by Executive Director Dato Paduka Hj Danial Hj Hanafiah along with representatives from fellow collaborators.
In addition, official event apparels were handed to the latter group.
The five–day expo will include baking classes led by award–winning Taiwanese
franchise Bake Culture, at the price of $55. Early bird registrants can enjoy 18 per cent discount before May 14.
Other activities include latte art skills showcase by Piccolo Café head barista; ice–cream decoration challenge by Kingston Beverage and Creamery Sdn Bhd; Hers Kitchen’s cooking competition; Treasure Hunt Maze by Wonder Theme Sdn Bhd;
and Fear House by Bouncer Ku.
Furthermore, the Thailand Embassy will demonstrate cultural arts; Go Hero
will install a photo booth; Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital
will conduct a blood donation drive; and KindyKare International will provide
a daycare centre.
Another highlight to look forward to is the inaugural Grand Lucky Draw that prepares
a list of great prizes.
Supported by the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism,
the 18th Consumer Fair will run from 10am to 10pm daily, except on Friday
where it breaks from 12pm to 2pm.
Based on a press statement, an additional $150 admin fee will be imposed on
every nine sqm due to an increase in operation cost for cleaning fees,
rubbish collection and many others.
