Model Kim Jin-kyung and Jota of Madtown will be appearing as an onscreen couple on MBC’s “We Got Married.”
In the latest episode of “We Got Married” that aired on Saturday, a sneak peek was revealed.
Kim, a 19-year-old fashion model, appeared on screen as the “bride-to-be” in the sneak preview. However, viewers had to guess who her onscreen husband would be, as the camera only showed Kim’s face.
On Sunday, entertainment industry insiders revealed that Jota and Kim Jin-kyung would replacing the previous onscreen couple made up of Joy from Red Velvet and Yook Sung-jae from BTOB.
Jota is a vocalist of the K-pop septet Madtown. He debuted as a singer in 2014. His popularity has been rising as he recently starred in various reality shows including “Our Neighborhood Arts and Physical Education” and “Law of the Jungle.”
His onscreen lover Kim Jin-kyung rose to stardom after auditioning as a professional model on the third season of “Korea’s Next Top Model.” Since then, she has been modelling and has also started pursing an acting career with the web drama “Yellow.”
The next episode of “We Got Married” featuring the new couple will be aired on May 14 at 4:50p.m.
