democracy is not what these people need.

hell it’s not even what they wanted.

Americans,I am trying to install democracies in nations for a century.

and it hasn’t worked one time.

These countries don’t have the most basic building-blocks to support a democracy.

Little things like we ought to be tolerant of those who disagree wirh us.
譬如应该对那些政见不同者宽容以待，
we ought to the tolerant of those who wish a different god than ua.
应该对那些不同信仰的人给予尊重，
that a journalist ought to disagree with a persident.
对根总统唱反调的记者虚心接受，等等这些事根本不重要。
And you think you can just march into this counry based on some fundamentalists,religious principles.
你以为凭着宗教信仰加之宗教原则，

drop a few bombs,top a dictator and start democracy.
扔上几颗炸弹再选一位独裁者就能建立民主吗？

People don’t want freedom.
人民不需要民主
They want boundaries,rules.
他们需要规章制度
protection form invadors and form themselves
需要抵御外来侵略者，也需要提防内部集团
people need a leader who can give them both support and the constraints.
需要有人领导他们，给予他们保障和禁锢
to keep chaos at bay.
好让乱世不再发生
you give them that,and thet’ll follow.
只要给这点好处他们就会乖乖听从
